Off-grid Solar Charge Controller
DESCRIPTION
The series controllers are new generation of general intelligent controllers which are researched for solar control field by our company, user can choose step-up, step-down, and other types of drive equipment freely according to actual needs. The series controllers are based on series type pulse width modulation (PWM) charging mode, with LCD display and USB port output function, can be widely used in household power supply system, solar street light and all kinds of small solar power generation application system.
FEATURES
Automatic identify system voltage;
Sealed / Gel / Flooded, three types of battery charging programs can be selected;
3-Stage PWM charging mode: bulk charge / boost charge / equalize charge / float charge; application of an equalize charging to the battery periodically, can effectively prevent the battery from non-equalization and sulfuration, increase the battery lifetime (except Gel);
Battery temperature compensation function, intelligent adjustment of charging parameters;
Friendly HMI interface: double buttons setting, LCD can display running states and working parameters of the controller dynamically;
A wide range of load modes: light control, light control & timer, debug and manual mode, expand application scenarios;
Electronic protection: over charge, over discharge, overheat, overload and short circuit.
USB port design, make convenience for users to charge the relevant electronic equipment.

DESCRIPTION
DTM4840 is a high-efficiency MPPT solar charge&discharge controller, charging adopts advanced maximum power point tracking algorithm, can quickly and accurately track the maximum power point of photovoltaic cells, full access to the energy of the photovoltaic panels, and improve energy utilization efficiency of photovoltaic power generation system. The discharge part can be loaded with 30A DC system, and it can be discharging while charging, used flexibly.
This product has the simple HMI interface, can switch between Chinese and English, multiple buttons operation, it’s convenient to check system running status, control parameters, the fault log and other information in real time, at the same time, the user can modify the control parameters according to the demand. Various detection and protection functions can fully guarantee the normal work of the product.

Advanced maximum power point tracking algorithm, can fast track the maximum power point of solar panel, MPPT tracking efficiency is up to 99.9%;
Multi-channel synchronous rectification technology can improve charging efficiency to 98%;
Multi-peak tracking technology, can also track the real maximum power point when solar panel have multiple peak of the I-V curve;
Dual-core processing, improve the processing speed and reliability of the system;
12/24/36/48VDC automatically identifying system voltage or user-defined working voltage;
Support 4 charging program options: Sealed, Gel, Flooded and User;
4-Stage charging mode, increase battery lifetime effectively;
Four load control modes: light control, manual control, light control + timer, time control, 30A DC output;
LCD display function, can monitor the operation status of the controller in real time, check fault log/ work log/ historical operation info, and support to modify control parameters;
LCD display support Chinese and English two languages, meet different user demands;
Monitor the temperature of device in real time, when the temperature is too high, the charging current will be reduced to ensure the controller temperature is within safe and reliable range;
Charging current limit function, when the solar panel power exceeds rated power, the controller will be limited to work at rated power to ensure not overload;
Battery temperature compensation function;
External battery voltage sampling function, detect battery real voltage, exempted from the effect of line loss;
Battery protection: over charge, over discharge, over temperature; load protection: short circuit, over load;
PV reverse polarity protection, battery reverse polarity protection, TVS lighting protection.
